ALHCO began working in partnership with Jephson Housing Association in March of this year. Managing 14,500 homes Jephson are one of the England’s largest Registered Social Landlords. We currently manage Jephson’s servicing, maintenance and installations in the North and the South and West.

Objective

Due to the nature of gas partnership ALHCO were keen to support Jephson in promoting their Good Neighbour Agreements.

Solution

Working in partnership with ALHCO, Jephson’s Housing Services Officer, Jan Rangeley, organised an exciting and engaging fun day for residents.

The idea was suggested by Elaine Hargate, Housing Manager, who acknowledged that an innovative plan would be to promote Good Neighbourhood Agreements. ALHCO’s involvement would also encourage residents to keep themselves and their neighbours safe by allowing access for gas safety inspections.
The fun day was held within the housing estate so was accessible to all, a bouncy castle and balloons were provided for the children along with a beautician for hair and make-up and refreshments were enjoyed by all.
ALHCO were keen to support Jephson who place great emphasis on resident involvement.

Result

The day was not only great fun for everyone involved but was also a fantastic way to communicate the gas safety message. Due to the nature of gas partnership ALHCO were keen to support Jephson in promoting their Good Neighbour Agreements.
